Face of Defense: Marines Get Recognition for Rescuing Trapped Motorist

Marine Corps Cpl. David Qualls and then-Marine Corps Cpl. Nathan Bryson each received the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for their heroism in rescuing a motorist who'd been badly injured in a traffic accident in September 2014. According to the award summary, had Qualls and Bryson not arrived when they did, the driver would have surely died in the fire.
